PREFERÊNCIAS RESTAURADORAS E ESCOLHAS DE DENTISTAS E ESTUDANTES NA RESTAURAÇÃO DE DENTES TRATADOS ENDODONTICAMENTE: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÃTICA

Resumo


Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar as mudanças ao longo do tempo em relação às preferências restauradoras dos dentistas / estudantes na restauração de dentes tratados endodonticamente (DTE).Métodos: Foram selecionados estudos de pesquisa, escritos em inglês, com dentistas / estudantes de odontologia, que avaliaram o uso de  pinos intra-canais e outros resultados restauradores para a DTE. As pesquisas foram realizadas nas bases de dados PubMed e SCOPUS sem restrição de tempo. Triagem e extração de dados foram realizadas por dois pesquisadores de forma independente. Um esboço padronizado foi utilizado para extrair os dados (perguntas relacionadas ao tema e a taxa de resposta de cada pergunta na pesquisa) e o risco de viés foi avaliado. Foi realizada análise descritiva das informações coletadas.Resultados: Vinte e cinco artigos foram incluídos. Dentistas que responderam às pesquisas relataram na maioria dos casos o tempo desde a graduação de 1 a 20 anos (40%) e 44% eram especialistas. As escolhas mais relatadas em relação ao tipo de pinos utilizados foram pinos pré-fabricados (45,8%), pinos de metal fundido (16,7%) e os dois pinos (16,7%). Os pinos de metal fundido foram citados com mais frequência em pesquisas publicadas entre 1994 e 2010, enquanto os pinos pré-fabricados, tanto de metal quanto de fibra de vidro, foram citados entre 2006 e 2019. O agente cimentante preferido para os pinos intra-canais foi o à base de resina (47). %) Essas escolhas pareciam ser influenciadas pelo tempo e pelo nível de pós-graduação.Conclusão: As preferências restauradoras relacionadas aos pinos foram alteradas ao longo do tempo, do uso de pinos metalicos fundidos para os pré-fabricados ou de ambos, parecendo ser influenciado pela experiência e pelo treinamento de pós-graduação.
